Books from the USA
Farrar, Straus and Giroux own the US rights to the Moomin books in both hardback and paperback, and are diligent about keeping the books in print. Moominvalley in November was recently published in both formats. No adult Tove Jansson books are currently available in the United States.
What's missing
I still haven't bought all the current paperback FSG editions - four of these are missing from this collection. I think I now own all the Avon / Camelot paperbacks (though I still can't work out why this company published two such similar-looking sets of books). I have only one of the Henry Z Walck hardback editions - and I'm also still missing the very rare first US Moomin book: The Happy Moomins published in 1952 by Bobbs-Merrill (known in the UK and later US editions as Finn Family Moomintroll).
